These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services, website, booking systems, communications, and treatments provided by Nous&Soma (“Nous&Soma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before booking or receiving any treatment.

Nous&Soma is a wellness and bodywork practice founded by Sofia Pournatzi, specialising in sports massage therapy, recovery, mobility support, rehabilitation-focused treatments, and performance-based body care.

Our treatments are designed to support recovery, movement quality, muscular balance, injury prevention, and overall wellbeing.

Nous&Soma provides professional wellness and bodywork services, including but not limited to:

All treatments are tailored individually based on the client’s needs, health status, and treatment goals.

Nous&Soma reserves the right to refuse treatment where we believe a treatment would be unsafe, inappropriate, or outside our professional scope.

BOOKINGS

Appointments may be booked through:

  • Direct message
  • Email
  • Telephone
  • Online booking systems
  • Third-party booking platforms

A booking is confirmed once:

  1. The appointment has been accepted by Nous&Soma; and
  2. Any required deposit or payment has been received.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when making a booking.

FEES & PAYMENT

Prices vary depending on:

  • Treatment type
  • Duration
  • Location
  • Travel requirements
  • Event bookings
  • Specialist services

Current pricing will be communicated before confirmation of your booking.

Payment may be required:

  • In advance
  • Immediately after the session
  • Via invoice for corporate/event bookings

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • Cash
  • Card payment
  • Online payment links

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of future appointments.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

Standard Cancellations

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time may be:

  • Rescheduled free of charge; or
  • Refunded where applicable.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may be charged up to 50% of the appointment fee.

Same Day/ Very Short Notice Cancellations

Appointments cancelled within 4 hours of the appointment time, or missed appointments (“no-shows”), may be charged 100% of the treatment fee.

Arrival Delays

If you arrive late:

  • Your session time may be shortened; and
  • The full treatment fee may still apply.

If delays exceed 15 minutes without communication, Nous&Soma reserves the right to cancel the appointment and charge the full session fee.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate health information
  • Informing us of injuries, medical conditions, allergies, or pregnancy
  • Updating us regarding any health changes before treatment
  • Providing a safe, clean, and suitable treatment environment for mobile appointments

The treatment space should include:

  • Adequate room for the treatment table
  • Appropriate temperature
  • Safe access
  • Reasonable hygiene conditions

Nous&Soma reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

HEALTH & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Massage and bodywork treatments are not a substitute for medical care.

Clients with medical conditions, injuries, recent surgeries, or pregnancies should seek medical advice where appropriate before booking treatment.

You confirm that all health information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Nous&Soma may request medical clearance before treatment in certain circumstances.

Treatment may be refused where contraindications are present.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES & SAFETY

Nous&Soma maintains strict professional standards.

Any inappropriate behavior including but not limited to:

  • Sexual remarks
  • Inappropriate touching
  • Harassment
  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Intoxication
  • Disrespectful conduct

will result in immediate termination of the session.

In such cases:

  • The full treatment fee remains payable; and
  • Future bookings may be refused permanently.

Nous&Soma reserves the right to leave any appointment immediately where personal safety is compromised.

RESULTS DISCLAIMER

While treatments are intended to support recovery, relaxation, mobility, and wellbeing, Nous&Soma cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results.

Results vary depending on:

  • Physical condition
  • Injury history
  • Lifestyle
  • Consistency of care
  • Client compliance with aftercare recommendations

Advice, recommendations, or treatment plans provided by Nous&Soma do not replace medical diagnosis or medical treatment.

Clients should consult qualified healthcare professionals regarding medical concerns.

LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nous&Soma shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of income or opportunity
  • Injuries arising from undisclosed medical conditionsReactions caused by inaccurate client information
  • Delays or cancellations outside our reasonable control

Clients receive treatment at their own risk and are responsible for communicating discomfort, pain, or concerns during the session.

MOBILE APPOINTMENTS

For home, hotel, or event bookings:

  • Safe parking or access information should be provided where possible.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safe entry to the premises.
  • Additional travel fees may apply depending on location.

Nous&Soma reserves the right to decline bookings in locations considered unsafe or inaccessible.

GIFT VOUCHERS & PACKAGES

Gift vouchers:

  • Are non-refundable
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Must be used within the stated validity period

Treatment packages or block bookings are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise. Unused sessions may expire after the stated package validity period.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All branding, logos, treatment concepts, text, images, social media content, and materials associated with Nous&Soma remain the intellectual property of Nous&Soma unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA

Nous&Soma may collect and store personal information necessary to:

  • Manage bookings
  • Deliver treatments
  • Maintain health records
  • Communicate regarding appointments

Your information will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

Client information will never be sold to third parties.

CHANGES TO TERMS

Nous&Soma reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply from the date they are published or communicated.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
